As all laws, Chapter 13 bankruptcy laws, rules, and duties are subject to interpretation.
All lawyers should, as an affirmative duty owed, interpret all laws in the light most
favorable to their client. Chapter 13 trustees are usually lawyers, and represent the best
interest of the US Trustee in Washington, and may or may not argue laws properly in all circumstances.
Bankrupt debtors are, by definition, on a limited budget, yet Chapter 13 bankruptcy laws must
be judicially read, interpreted properly, and when available, each party in interest should advocate
the best reading in the factual circumstances at bar.
